Below is a list of the novels that students are reading in class right now:
Grade 6 --- "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen
Grades 8-10 --- "The Cay" by Theodore Taylor
Grades 11-12 --- "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury
If you have the time, read these books and ask your students questions about what they have read. By discussing books at home, you will show your son or daughter that you are interested in what they are doing at school!
